Leo Giannola hat studiert in dem Jazz Schule von Siena in Italy. Philippe Loli hat gespielt in ganze Welt und viele aufgenommen im Klassische musik und auch mit John McLaughlin : Time Remembered & The Promise.

Philippe loli has played all over the world in Asia (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Corea, India), in the North America, in South America (Venezuela, Ecuador, Guatemala, Salvador, Chili) and also in Europe (Berlin - Philharmonie , Frankfort - Alte Oper, Munich - Gasteig, Cordoba - Festival Internacional de Guitarra, Paris - Festival de guitare de Radio France, Venezia - Teatro La Fenice, Monaco - Salle Garnier, Barcelona - Palau de la Musica , etc....).
He is a virtuoso of the guitar whose interpretations of the guitar repertoire, from J. S. Bach to modern music, are in the grand tradition. Philippe Loli has played with Aighetta Guitar Quartet, with Accordionist Christiane Bonnay, the Modern String Quartet, Pianist Herbert Wiedemann, Mandolinist Sabine Marzé, Jazz Guitarist Leo Giannola, Violonist Zhang Zhang, etc.. He has recorded different CD as soloist and with orchestra (one of them, the “24 Caprichos de Goya” by Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco in live and world premiere at the Sommerakademie of Neuburg an der Donau in 1990).
Philippe Loli, as composer, finds interest in all kinds of music, classical, world and film music. The “Concerto Azzurro” for guitar and string orchestra was composed and created during the year 2000 with the Soloists of La Scala di Milano. In 2004 was created the “Four Winds Concerto - Concerto des 4 Vents" for guitar and brass orchestra. He also compose Gipsy songs for his group "Luna Gitana", Jazz Standart and Bossa Nova, some of them edited by Boosey & Hawkes and distributed by Schott (Happy Birthday Bossa Nova & Bossa in Love).
After a first record with John Mc Laughlin “Time Remembered”, he took part in “The Promise”, along with legendary figures such as Paco de Lucia, Al di Meola, Sting, etc... and in “Thieves & Poets”, an Orchestral Suite with “ I Pommerigio Musicale di Milano” , Viktoria Mullova, Paul Meyer and Matt Haimovitz.
Born on 19 November 1961 in Monaco, Philippe Loli is actually professor at the Music Academy of Monaco who he has studied with Pier Domenico Amerio, a disciple of Andrès Segovia.
